I was born in New Delhi in 1998. I never left New Delhi until 2022. I have since lived in Kolkata, Bombay, Chandigarh, and am now many oceans away in Blacksburg, VA.
I learned English by writing my first novel, The Dreaming Reality over the course of four years. Largely a lesson in perseverance, it amassed a lot of love amongst the young and literary crowd of Delhi and other metropolitan cities.
My first serious long-term relationship inspired the novelette, Maya. It also proved to me that I would now have to “become” a writer, whatever that meant.
